What a fun couple of days. Yesterday we all ventured to the main children's museum in Raleigh and had a blast! I had taken the kids only once before when Sam was still in his infant seat and Hannah was just beginning to be able to appreciate such a place. Yesterday was a glimpse into many fun adventures to come.

This place has a crazy number of "stations" with all sorts of activities to do - shopping, cooking, dress-up, physical adventures, water play, gardening, real woodworking tools and on and on.

Hannah picked out this picture to share with everyone. Sam loves animals - especially Cows :)

Sam looks so cute to me as he carried the basket around - now ready to check out.

Sam and Hannah (in the background) loved the submarine set-up. Sam especially liked the goggles - but then again he likes anything on or around his head.

We thought we would train Sam early on the bike :)

Hannah loved being a purple bear (her favorite color).

Unfortunately I missed the best shot with them both standing up on the boards but they were good enough not to fall off.

Hannah loves practicing balancing.

Sam loves to practice as well - doing anything his big sister does :)

They both love to build with blocks and how cool that there were so many big big blocks.

Today we checked out a couple of new-to-us parks in town. I have to say that I am lovin' our town! It is like park heaven :) Hannah had fun climbing on this dragon.

And swinging

There is a pedestrian bridge that we drive under a lot but have never explored until today. From the first park we decided to venture on the greenway and found that it wasn't too far to the bridge. It was a perfect place to stop for a morning snack. We all loved looking for the different kinds of cars and trucks that drove under. We even had a couple of big trucks honk hello to us. This will become a favorite spot - albeit a little noisy ;)

Hannah and Sam were a little tuckered out on the walk home but Daddy once again saved the day.

On the way home we were curious to see where the greenway went and happened to find another park on the other side. Hannah was thrilled! to find a merry-go-round. She spent most of her time on it - enjoying fast and slow rides with lots of boys and girls - Sam too enjoyed his time spinning. I could only ride once as the spinning was just too much for me.
