Although it was cloudy much of the time we were at Nonni's and Opa's house in the mountains - we still enjoyed the great views and the awesome fall colors - doesn't God have a awe-inspiring paintbrush! This is the view from their porch.

This is another view from their porch. It amazes me how moderate changes in elevation affect leave color - we don't have much change at home but up here is amazing.

This is the view from our hike up a small bald nearby. The picture just doesn't do it justice.

Hannah enjoyed the hike - it was windy and little nippy - that is why she has a couple of hats on. She giggled so much while riding on Daddy's back.

Daddy and Opa got some work done building a fence/handrail for the steps. Leila the boxer spent some good time outside playing and watching them work.

Hannah loves to give kisses - here she is giving kisses to Brent and at one point she got a tongue full of wiskers which prompted her to make a funny face :)

Opa planted a few frazier firs and this one will one day be harvested for a Christmas tree for Hannah. We are sure the tree will outgrow Hannah and will enjoy seeing its progress over the years - as well as Hannah's growth :) She certainly enjoyed playing with its branches.
