Hi all -
Only have time to write an update - I will post pictures later.
We had more fun at Christmas time with family when Brent's sister and her family came to our house for a visit - Alicia, Greg, Avery and Michael. We were then joined by Nonni and Opa. We had a great time - playing the Wii Fit - Santa gave it to Avery and Michael for Christmas - and seeing Hannah have great fun with her extended family. We only wish we lived closer!!
We spent a very low key New Years - in years past we hosted a party with friends and played games but this year we just watched a movie and UNC play basketball (Go Heels) waiting for the ball to drop. We were also able to paint the kitchen our favorite blue - getting some projects done always feels good - and it helps us to feel that our new house is more our home. On New Years Day we went to visit Nana and Granddaddy and Uncle Mark and Aunt Caroline - had a good time playing games!
Hannah has had a very eventful last days!! On Jan 1 we found that her first tooth came through - she has been a little fussier than normal lately and now we know why. She also has started distinctly verbalizing Mamamama and Babababa - very cute!! Her new game is for us to help her stand against the couch, we then let go and she stands there for a few moments then pushes off to land on her bum - she gets a big kick out of it and wants to repeat it and repeat it! :)
