Padding and Peddling

As you can see posts are seeming to be farther apart. This is due in part to there not being so many milestones so close together as the kids get older. By all means that doesn't mean that we aren't have a blast and the kids are doing crazy things routinely :) Quite the opposite!

Sam has taken several steps in a row on several different occasions but just doesn't quite want to take off on his own yet. I think he is determined to hold off until he is 14 months (the age that Hannah was when she started walking). He is still climbing anything he can - including stools, dining room chairs, couches, etc

He is definitely also exerting his will - he let's you know when he wants your attention. Tonight was a good example - after dinner Brent was swing the kids around and then "tossing" them onto me on the couch for tickles - Hannah would have a turn and Sam was right there arms outstretched wanting his turn.

Hannah has learned to peddle her tricycle - still working on the finetuning but she is well on her way!

She is learning to share. She is also so funny b/c she is practicing her "that's funny" laugh. And she is quite the thinker - she can get some jokes now and loves to tell us she got the joke :) Her favorite color is purple which is new for her. She also knows Daddy's favorite and Mommy's and HopHop's :) Tonight at dinner Brent asked her what colors make purple and she said blue and red - curious where she got that - maybe some time with Nana.

Speaking of time with Nana - kudos to Mom for branching out - she has 2 weeks in a row taken the kids out to either playgroup or storytime PLUS time at a park and on one occasion for ice cream!! Very happy for them all. So glad everyone is getting to enjoy this great weather.

Pics and video to follow at some point - until then . .
