Pullen Park with the boys

Hannah recently went to visit Nana and Granddaddy for about 4-5 days. The intent was to go to VBS with them but that didn't really work out so she simply enjoyed her time going to a children's museum, swimming and hanging out with Nana and Granddaddy. She had a blast. While Hannah was away we had some good one on one time with Sam which was a treat. Part of that time was spent visiting Pullen Park with Ashley and Camden and Tyler - just us and the boys. I had not been to Pullen since it was recently refurbished and it was a lot of fun. We were able to ride the train ~

They also had boats. I must admit I was on guard because when Sam rides in a kayak he likes to lean over the side to feel the water which he attempted to do with these but was quickly reminded that wasn't the best choice. He loved being able to ring the bell and Camden 

was very gracious in letting him.

 

 Sam's favorite animal now are dinosaurs - specifically T Rexs but for Sam they are all "Mad TRexs". It is cute to hear him talk about that and to show his "Mad TRex" face.

 The last thing we did was ride the renovated carousel which was a lot of fun - it really had some speed :) Overall we had a great time together.
