Sam's Baptism

As I mentioned in another post we had Brent's sister and her family in town for Thanksgiving so we thought it would be a good time to celebrate Sam's baptism. It was made more special b/c like with Hannah my Dad was able to officiate. We also used water from Indian Lake in NY which has special meaning to us both but especially to Brent. The baptism gown that Sam is wearing actually has been worn by Brent, his sister, her 2 kids and Hannah so it too has its own heritage. As you can see Hannah was quite active - she loved the platform and continually climbed up and down :) Sam slept through most of it - waking up just before Dad sprinkled the water on this head and that even didn't seem to faze him :)

As you can see we worship in a contemporary service - you might be able to see Brent up on the stage leading us in song.
It was such a full time that I actually forgot to get family pictures other than what is here - we will certainly remember this day though.
