Blessings
A few weeks ago Nana was scheduled to be here with the kids as usual for a little longer than usual - Tu, We and Th so I could attend an educational class on We and Th. Little did I know that she was still sick from her cold at the beginning of December. Well as the day went on she got worse and worse and really needed to be seen and go home to recuperate. Coincidentally Opa had to take his car to the shop in Raleigh and found that they needed to keep it so unless he rented a car to go home he was kinda stuck for a while. This happened in November and he got an extended visit with us then and it appeared he was going to have another such visit with us. Well Brent picked him and their boxer up and they came home together on Tuesday evening just in time to wish Nana well as she went home to recover. B/c I needed to go to this class and Brent had to work the same time Opa was very gracious and brave to volunteer to watch the kids for a few hours and he did a great job (not that we thought he wouldn't). The kids loved being with him - Hannah got a few trips to the library and several rides in the stroller. We really appreciated his willingness to step right in! And we enjoyed his visit. Momma Kitty wasn't quite sure what to do with their doggy who came into the house at night b/c it was so cold during that time. Anyway - Nana is feeling better and we thank Opa for his unintended visit!
